Captain Marvel: Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S 'Axis' experimental jet

I wanted something that resembled a 1980s-90s era mini-SR-71 with a bay from which it could deploy the lightspeed engine when high enough.I imagined the hyperdrive might leave a trail of almost liquid distortions and light patterns in the space behind it. The design particularly the hyperdrive changed somewhat, development which you can see in the Captain Marvel artbook, but the basic shape stayed the same.
I only had a few days to do it but its actually one of my favourites from the whole project. When I was sketching it I thought of it as the 'E-Type' experimental jet as it resembled a Jaguar E-Type a little.
